Please be inform that is summit application end date on this 30th June for the Kota Permai Non-Golf Membership.

Last week i checked with the office admin said they are not allow to extend the membership period currently, and got lots of lagoon home buyer still not go active their non-golf membership.

Please take your action move on, else you will be waste your free non-golf member. Currently the Non-golf membership Kota Permai selling 10k for new apply.

Security and Safety in Lagoon Area

Lagoon committee is working on the following actions to prevent and minimize the risk at our area:-

1. Asking for 7pm - 7am security guard service. We will have discussion
soon(27th June 3.00pm @ PPKK Office [2nd round around about above post office]) to make a progress. We need all your support and advice to make this proposal work.

2. Fencing at all the backyard. We are dealing 2 ways:-
A. Seeking approval from MBSA for standard backyard fencing approval
B. Asking for Backyard fencing quotation. Residents required to share the
cost and each unit of house will have a key for backyard fencing.

3. Appointing Road and Block Rep. This is to ensure efficient communication
among lagooners. We would appreciate if you can share this info with your
neighbour that have no email access.

4. Seeking MBSA to construct hump and speed breaker ( those yellow line) at the
Lagoon Main Entrance ( Cross Junction)

Safety of the Lagoon

I hope the idea to gate and guard up the area will take effect. We would like to highlight to all that the safety of the area may be at risk. Since our home was under renovation we had noticed on 2 occasions where strangers walking at the back lanes. We assumed it to be some foreign workers but turned out to be some local youngsters from nearby. These youngsters come on bikes and hangout at the park.
Since all of us have spent so much on our homes, taxes and maintenance, I strongly feel that the utility of the Lagoon such as the park is mainly designed for the purpose of all of us to use. We noticed that more and more people are starting to come in and utilize the park. Driving their cars and bikes on the turfs and littering. We have some friends staying at the Canal Garden and their parks are well kept and strictly for the use of the residents there.
I hope some would agree that the safety and cleanliness of our Lagoon is important and hopefully the idea to gate and guard the area will be materialized.

4. Yes, I'll contribute & topup when Funds shortage only - 1.92% (1 out of 52 Vote)
5. Yes, I'll contribute on activities/tasks basis - 7.69% (4 out of 52 Vote)
6. No, why should I pay - 55.77% (29 out of 52 Vote)

Else than not paying, the majority seems agreed to earn possible money by register our side to NaffNang. I proposed to proceed with NaffNang, temporary using my mailing address (NaffNang need this for cheque delivery) by end of this week.

Did you know that if you want to cut off the water supply for your garden hose you can do so but turning off the water supply in the Masterbedroom toilet. Huh!!!!! well its true dont believe me please check. Now i wonder who designed the piping for our Lagoon home.
So the nest time who want to play a prank on your maids or wifes while they are washing or watering the garden simply turn off the water supply at the toilet.

Hi Lagooners

A word of advice for all those who have just got the keys and starting the renovations, pls check al your plug points and also get your contractors to check all the lighting points. We found that Gamuda had shared 1 live source with 4 points. What happend to our house was the gate light point is not at the main door but at the downstairs room. When we checked we found that Gamuda had shared the live points with other lighting switch. So please get your contractors to check properly all electrical points and lighting points before installing any plaster ceiling. Better safe than sorry.

MOVED IN AT LAST

Hi all Lagooners!

We have finally moved in. After a strenuous 2 months of inspecting, sourcing, breathing the dust and dirt, our renovation finally was completed. We would also like to appologise to our neighbours for all the noise our contractors caused till the late evening.
CY Phang a million appologies to you too. Well we are still busy clearing and arranging stuffs, guess the cleaning and sorting is gonna take a month at least. Renovation completed, furnising done,unpacking in process but our doggy is still at traning in Perak. His been there like for a month pluss nowHis majesty shall make a grand apperance hopefull sometime this week. Missing him so much, hope he likes his new home. Oh well we shall post up some pics of our home real soon.
