SOS "Its raining inside"

Hi All,
We are new here, and would like to add to Tek Ho Mei Ling post. We had done our defects report about 2 months ago. Minor defects such as door handles jammed, hair line cracks, and improper paint job were reported. Gamuda had sent their contractors to have these defects repaired. The interesting part is they did not inform us when they would come and also upon completion did not inform us. We had to inspect the house on a regular basis to find out it has been looked into. It looked like they did a quick patch up job.
Last week both me and my wife went to inspect the house during a heavy downpour and to our surprise witness the heavy rain not only outside but inside the house. Water was rushing down the staircase from upstairs. The masterbedroom was leaking very badly. As a result the water had trailed to the upstairs hall, and also into the 2nd & 3rd bedroom. It looked like it had been leaking for sometime as the water had seeped through the parquet flooring in the 2nd bedroom. The leak was also noticeable at the downstairs 1st bedroom ceiling.
We immediately reported this at the maintenance office and the repair has yet to be carried out. Our parquet is now starting to spoil as a result of the stagnant water. I am still rushing the developer to carry out the repairs as soon as possible.
Since we are in the midst of getting the best quotation from our contractors we are some how lucky we had not started the renovations or we would have had our plaster ceiling idea ruined. We would like to advice all Lagoon Home owners please ensure that your roof is checked by your contractors and please inspect your home during a heavy downpour. I attached some photos for your viewing.
