Trojan horse virus is a well known malicious malware that affects your PC via IE running on Windows platform. This is because Windows traditionally till today is weak and has a lot of flaws in temrs of security. So be careful.
Windows PCs infected by malware from the Trojan-Downloader Agent-ACD family are liable to download other malware programs onto a compromised machine.
Users should not open untrusted files with a *.wmf extension. Users should also configure their Internet Explorer security settings to "high" as a precaution, it recommends. Anti-virus firms are updating signature definition files to detect the risk, and protection is now largely in place.

- Please do not open any attachments files from unknown people. You should not even open their emails to check.
- Please be careful not to click any comments posted in this blog by some unknown people. They may also post some virus alert / prizes/ fake info/ to trick you to click their link. Security on this blog will be beefed up soon. Meanwhile, please be careful.

Hi all, glad to met with Choong Lim, Alan, Albert last Sunday. As what Albert requested, I here upload 2 url which we can able to register freely for dynamic dns convertion from our house streamyx.
This can be very useful for those of you which take the CCTV security and hoping to monitor your house condition remotely from far. But please bare in mind this also depends on your CCTV module to be supported or not.
To remotely access your home's server, like web or monitoring, it's very easy, first you need to register either one from these urls, and put in your house's streamyx PPP ip. These url will give you a static dns, e.g like http://no-ip.vincent.com. So, when you want to access to your home's server web, you just need to enter the specified url and it will convert to your house's IP. Besides, you need to open the port for the access as well.
